Currently doing up living room......walls neutral in a creamy colour.
But I would want to add a dash of colour via the curtains.

I was thinking or a greeny thyme colour in the curtains and a few scatter cushions on the sofa.

The thing is I think i am going to need them to be made up as I have wierd sized windows.

Please recommend somewhere to go to.

Also somewhere to buy light fittings and curtain poles to match not too hard ladies

I live in North East btw

TIA

Do you need long curtains??? I need long curtains (over 200cm) and i found that la redoute catalogue do them ....not sure what choice you have though, might be worth a look?

Look in the local paper, ask your mates for a curtain maker locally. Curtain makers always know a fitter and where to get the poles. Much better to get them made to measure.
Otherwise Laura Ashley very lovely, expensive though.

John Lewis have lots of poles, also places like Dunelm Mill (cheaper). I would have them made by a local curtain maker rather than use their services, though - have heard they're not so good, same goes for Laura Ashley.
