So DH will be working days and I will be doing nights.

this means that he will be responsible for feeding and putting the children to bed.

Clearly my usual way of finding the dds clean pj's two mintues before they go to bed from where ever I have decided to put them that day will not work. Niether will it work that I am the one who does everything.

So who should do what and when? Help us get organised.

Also I will be preparing dinner before I leave for work for him to heat up when he gets home so recipes that can be kept on low in the oven for an hour or two or kept in pan would be great.

And do you think it would be isulting if I left him note on dd1's dance bag of what he needs to ensure is in the bag before he leaves?

If he is working days, if you really think he will not cope with finding clean pjs etc himself, I would put them on the beds before you leave. Make sure bathroom is set up for baths - towels hung up, toothbrushes and toothpaste next to the sink - as well.

No need to leave notes on bags - too easy to lose. Pin up on noticeboard/magnet on fridge clear lists of what goes in what bags: dance bag, book bag, etc. And buy weekly planner so that all regular activities can be clearly written on. This can be a reminder for you just as much as him so not insulting.

Food-wise, I would batch cook lots of meals (fish pie, bolognaise, etc) and then freeze them. That way, you can get out whatever you want them to have for dinner to defrost - presumably, he's capable of sorting out veggies/pasta etc to go with whatever you're defrosting.

No freezer space. But I will keep that in mind for when I get a new freezer, I'm thinking sex frudge

The dance bag thing, he will be at dancing I am dropping dd1 off at dancing meeting him outside my workplace and giving him dd2. He is then going to collect dd1. Every other time he as done this they have forgotten something. There will be no point in me woking if I am forever ordering new dance gear.

Veggies/pasta/frozen chips etc he is capable of.

Notice board and weekly planner are good ideas.
