Hello everyone. I'm flying by/checking in, but I'm tooooooooo busy at the moment. I've signed up to help with too many things at the dss school, and have barely time to get through my morning/evening routine, never mind all the other stuff I am supposed to do.

However, I'm still here, hanging on. And it's good preparation for the summer holidays which will be far too busy to do more than the basics. Here's hoping for sunshine and lots of out-and-about days. Do you all have preschoolers, or do you have school kids and if so do you keep flying during the hols, or have a briefer holiday routine?

Back sometime. . . .I'm hanging on in here - just!

Ambi · 08/07/2008 13:04

Morning Afternoon all, done morning routine & cleaned the shower.

I felt like you babyjj this morning when DD woke up at 6.30 so I fed her and put her back to bed for a bit and I had an extra lie in til she woke at 10am result! Feel fab now.
Makeup wise, it depends on how I feel, I usually put a bit on everyday, except fridays for some reason, that way if I venture out I don't feel like a hobo - which I do without makeup. I only put on concealer, powder, blusher, eyeliner, mascara and lippy and some perfume, but it makes me feel human.
Gotta empty the washing machine and put the towels in the dryer, post a letter, do meal plans and online shopping and a trip to lidl. I want a parasol for the pushchair for our hols but don't want to pay anymore than a couple of quid as it'll be hardly used and I keep getting outbid on ebay, so gotta keep trying to get one. I also need a new loo brush as ours has rusted, cos I keep it in bleach water. I'll have a look through the missions, we're in the kitchen aren't we? Luckily my kitchen isn't so bad as it's tiny.

TheMadHouse · 08/07/2008 13:07

Afternoon all

Mine are preschoolers 2 and 3.3 so I have to keep mine up.

I am now off up to iron, then to tackle my zone clean.

I am unfeazably in a good moon, prob as the boys Boden sale order has just come (used their money [blush), got PJ shorts and stuff for next year. Boys can be so hard to buy for as I hate next and all that type of stuff. So we do Fatface (sale), GAP (sale) and Boden (sale) and both can wear them. If it is Tescos then only tends to last one of them - so can work out more expensive.

ANyway will catch up once ironed.

EV Anything we can help with

Jas · 08/07/2008 13:29

EV Are you ok?

NotQuite I have school age and preschool. It all falls apart a bit when I've got all 3 at home, but I try and do the daily routines, and one day a week of extra stuff.
I also find thelast couple of weeks of school I spend more time at the school than not (Jr school parents meeting yesterday, Jr school sports day tomorrow, Helpers assembly on Friday, and another sports day and fun day in the last week.)

Scatty I couldn't do it myself! My neighbour does it for me at her house.

Ruby - JP requesting the discount doesn't surprise me at all...

Ambi I haven't even looked at the mission yet. I'll do it now.

Jas · 08/07/2008 13:31

Hello

Tooth all out, mouth still numb, horrid taste, but I'm sure that will go away.

It was ok....actually no it wasn't, it was 'orrid!!
The injections were the worst....4 injections!
The teeth cleaning wasn't very pleasent either. The actual tooth extraction was the best bit!
I had to go to the chemist biting on a big swab thing, to buy some Ibuprofen and drove home trying to swop swobs over to minimize blood and dribble!
(lol...sorry if TMI)

Well at least it is all over and done with now...

I had to sign a form at the end and I was shaking so much I could only just sign my name!!!
WOOSE!!!

littlemissloopy · 08/07/2008 14:53

Here's me...all self self self...

EV Hope everything is ok...sorry to hear the sad news

littlemissloopy · 08/07/2008 15:06

Oh...and I don't wear makeup either...just every now and then, or if I'm going out anywhere special.

grouchyoscar · 08/07/2008 15:51

Loopy I hate the injections at the dentist. They scare me so much I have my fillings done without anesthetic. They don't actually hurt TBH, I just focus on being somewhere else

Jas · 08/07/2008 17:06

Thanks to you all

It hurts now The numbness has gone which is good, as now I can drink! It does ache quite a bit though. Have had Neurofen.

Your lists are good today...Jas yours is massive!

BJB My dh has listed today (work stuff though not house stuff)

We are getting ready to redecorate the lounge....just waiting to hear from the landlord to see if he will let us or not.

We want to re-wallpaper, and get the carpet cleaned....buy a new sofa and a few new pieces of furniture.
Will take a while as we are pretty skint, but we have to do something, it is driving me mad. The sofa is falling apart, and it is ripping the wallpaper off behind it where it has fallen apart and revealed spiky metal bits!(not great for kids either!)
Our landlord is extremely hard to get hold of however, and even harder to actually get to agree to anything

Jas · 08/07/2008 17:29

Take paracetaml as well if youcan LML.

I can't see me finishing my lists now. My enthusiasm is waning...

tortoise · 08/07/2008 18:06

Evening all.
LML I had root canal done today so you have my sympathy. Mine is fine which is amazing. Normally get some aching.
Babyjj I never list on cheap days on Ebay. Less sells because more people have listed.

Forgotten the rest!

Have kind of given up on FLY. I can't get into routines and hard to keep up with the thread when i am only here in the eve.

babyjjbaby · 08/07/2008 18:12

ahh hadn't thought of that more on ther so less chance of selling i haven't sorted nothing out yet tho

dylsmum1998 · 08/07/2008 18:34

oh maybe i'l leave mine til next week then tort, lol was trying to save money on listing but if it doesnt go not saving is it.

i have done minimal flying todya have been swimming this mroning then out to see my nan and take her shopping.

ds came out of school in a good mood as he was selected for a place on the arethusa trip. so now lots of saving to do.
he's now in bed as he is behaving atrociously. if he was a girl and a few years older i'd say it was the beginning of PMT! dont know whats got into him at the mo

Jas · 08/07/2008 18:41

dylsmum I guess he's 9? Boys seem to have (another) surge of hormones about then. Really noticable in my friends ds.

tort - Don't leave us. Just do what works for you, and pop in in the evenings still.
