Cleaning shower room top to toe - steam cleaner?

Our tiled shower room needs a floor to ceiling clean. It’s not filthy but the wall tiles are dusty, the floor round the radiator is fluffy, the shower grout needs work. Doing the whole thing well is going to take a couple of hours at least assuming I use the traditional sponge, bucket and elbow grease. I pondered getting a cleaner to come and do it for me but now I’m wondering if I invested in a steam cleaner I could do it myself much quicker than scrubbing with a sponge for hours.
I’ve been thinking about getting a steam mop and wondered if I could use that on the wall tiles, but then thought it might leak or not work if I turned it upside down.
Handheld steam cleaners seem like they don’t have mop type heads which would be needed for the wall tiles, although some of them that sort of jet clean look like they do a good job on shower grout.
I’m a bit lost with it all and the price range is enormous.
Any advice / suggestions / recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I’d go to Savers or B&M - spend £3 on a tub of The Pink Stuff paste and a pack of scourers and some new microfibre cloths
start from the top and just scrub everything, rinse and dry
Brilliant stuff , yes , may be a couple of hours but really satisfying

I have Pink Stuff and one of those scrubby things that’s like a giant electric toothbrush but it just takes so much time and effort and then so much rinsing afterwards and the grout is only slightly better. I don’t find cleaning very satisfying tbh (although admit good results can be pleasing for a short while) which I guess is why I have dusty wall tiles and fluff round the radiator.
Maybe I just need to accept it’s a shit job but someone’s got to do it, there’s no shortcuts and just roll my sleeves up.

I've used HG mould remover which is brilliant on tiles, but it's a very strong bleach spray so would strongly advise mask and old clothes. Spray on, leave it however long it says on the bottle, rinse off.

I’ve got a steam cleaner that you can use full size or you can take the water tank out of the main body and attach the heads direct to that (a bit like when you use the hoover without the long but if the pipe) for walls and things. I find it really quick and easy. Perhaps because it’s easy it means I do it relatively often but, even if I didn’t, I can’t imagine having to attack the walls with the pink stuff. How dirty are the walls getting? The ones in the shower cubicle itself - which are the only ones I can see getting dirty - get cleaned weekly anyway.
As a PP has said, HG mould remover is amazing stuff. I’d get some of that and give it a squirt around the affected areas an hour or so before you start. Open the bathroom window as it’s quite potent!

You don't need a steam cleaner. Clean the wall tiles with a small mop with hot water. Wall tiles accumulate dust but are rarely greasy. Hot water will take away dust and dirt without needing extra work.

For grout in showers and floor tiles, I use pure bleach. It disenfects and whitens grout and is not as expensive as "grout cleaners" which are basically the same.

I clean the shower screen daily. After I soap myself, I give it a wash and rinse it before I do myself. It keeps the glass screen spotless without build up scum. It literally takes a few seconds.

Second the advice re the window!

Forgot to add, I did the bathroom walls with a swiffer type mop (the ones with reusable pads) - worked a treat.

You could use a drill brush or you could use a long handled scrubbing brush.

Look at this product that I found on google.com https://share.google/usbgVwJZFTLShjK2T

https://www.johnlewis.com/oxo-good-grips-extending-tub-and-tile-brush/p2273204?s_ppc=2dx_mixed_home_BAU&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23671139480&gbraid=0AAAAAD2el1zssy5LIRfBqzhEboEdLLwEk&gclid=CjwKCAjwl4HXBhAjEiwAHlpWhGW-KCClNzDPNstVW-ta0g12HFQKzW5Mo1URHfg8RfHpRvzADhqI3xoCe4IQAvD_BwE

These are just examples. You can pick up similar locally and cheaper. I'd recommed the extendable handle just because some showers can be really tight.

Wow that drill brush thing looks a lot more heavy duty than the thing I have.
I like the long handled thing.
Thank you.

Yeah I have that HG spray and it is good.

Spray bleach onto the grouting and leave overnight if possible??

The walls aren’t dirty per se. They just have attracted some dust and because of the steam in the shower room it’s harder to wipe them down than just a dry cloth. I’m just fed up with it looking a bit generally tatty and want to do a deep clean floor to ceiling. I just don’t have a lot of patience for spending hours scrubbing so was thinking about tools that might speed things up a bit. Your steam cleaner sounds a bit like what I was thinking of.
