Storage ideas for keeping older clothes dry and mould free

Any storage tips for lots of clothes kept in a wardrobe? DH has lots and is reluctant to throw the very old ones (he doesn't wear anymore) away. A whole chest of drawers of his had to be chucked as I discovered mould on them and I have a dust allergy/long-term respiratory issues. He chucked them all voluntarily.

Wardrobe is in the corner by a wall in a room with 2 exposed walls (detached). Lots of clothes loose at the bottom of the wardrobe.
Which boxes do you use to keep them dry and sanitary?

Sounds like a moisture / airflow problem. Furniture might be better pulled an inch or so further away from the wall.

Do you think a dehumidifier would help more generally in that room?

I store out of season clothes and duvet in vacuum bags, inside a big wooden blanket box that I use as a side table. I do go through them every 6 months and get the duvet laundered when I swap over the summer stuff to winter and vice versa.

I store my winter clothes in two 60L black rectangular boxes on wheels with clip-on lids.

You can find them in many DIY shops in different sizes, or order on-line. They are bulky but work really well against potential mould, moths and vermin. I put them up in the roof.
