Filtered shower heads for electric showers in hard water areas

We live in quite a hard water area and have been looking at those shower heads with the filters in them. I was just about to order the JML one off the Very site, it has an option to click for electric showers yet on the product description it says not to use on electric showers which seems a contradiction.

Does anyone have one of these shower heads on an electric shower? Have you had any issues?

Am I missing something, what would the option for electric shower be if it then says not to use on electric showers?

@MrsSofC some of these shower heads have a button on the handle that you can stop the water flow with. You can't use these on electric showers because it would burn out the electric shower's internal pump as it would keep pumping against the closed off shower head. You can get them without the button and that's fine with an electric shower.
Tip. Get replacement balls from ebay or amazon as they are much cheaper, and you need more than you think you'll need.

cant you just use a Descaler on the shower head regularly. I find JML products ‘gimmicky’
