...and threw away almost half of what was in there, as it was out of date.

I was inspired by receiving my two new First aid boxes which were in the sale at Lakeland.

I finally got around to clearing out my cupboard after DD1 born as had collected quite a scary collection of drugs over the years, most of which i never used, but had 'just in case'

I hope you didn't throw any medicine away in the rubbish or pour it down the drain - it should be handed into a chemist for disposal ....

No - it's all in a plastic bag waiting to go back to the pharmacy bit of the surgery.

. Worth mentioning though. I've tried to take stuff back to the pharmacy in Tesco before now, and they rather sniffily said that they could only accept it if I'd bought it there. So now I save it all up and drop it in at the surgery when I'm passing.
