Duvet care. Do you have duvet protectors?

i wonder whether to just have two duvet covers?

I tried them when potty training but they kept getting all twisted uo inside. It's easier just to wash the duvet regularly in the washing machine.

Cover less duvets are amazing - just wash the whole thing and it dies super easily too

No otherwise I’d be boiling. I wash our duvets every so often then chuck them in the dryer but they all have covers.

Coverless duvets are all polyester so they dry quickly so they’re all hot and sweaty. Ok for DC sleepovers

Don’t you need two? I don’t find a duvet cover dries within a day, do you need a tumble drier to wash & dry together?

Yes, I have water resistant duvet protectors on a couple of beds (cat had a sensitive stomach a couple of years ago and I was trying to protect the duvets, rather than go to the laundrette constantly!). I don’t notice any difference in use between these and the other beds. I totally forget about them until I go to wash the duvet twice a year.

A friend has coverless duvets, I think from M&S. It’s basically a duvet with a colour or pattern so you wash and dry the whole thing each time, just to avoid putting a cover on a duvet. Ended up having to buy a larger washing machine.
