Either way I’d take it to a launderette if it was too big for my machine and just try washing it normally.

If it isn’t washable, cover it with bicarb and let it sit, then vacuum. Or try something like this:

White vinegar soak , least it works on cat pee which is bad !

Try a soak in Milton or Napisan and then wash as hot as possible according to the label
