What are these stains and how do I get rid of them

Did a load of washing and set it out to dry on the airer. Noticed these stains on most of the items of clothes. Next wash was unaffected but I checked the machine and there was two Bobby pins in the lining. Could it be from them?

The stains are hard on some of the clothes and softer on others?

The washing machine acts up a lot in general and shoes E20 error half way through a wash or dry cycle and has to be reset.

Any advice on how to remove them would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like ink? Did a pen find its way in the washing machine?

You won’t be able to get it out if it’s ink

I thought ink too but I couldn’t find a pen in the machine and the next load wasn’t effected.

Ink will come out all you need is hand sanitizer and a lot of blotting with kitchen roll. Trust me if it’s ink it will come out.
