Hi all. Busy day at work. No lunch break (again). Have a poorly DH and an extra child at home at the mo!

Dyl thats a shame about your cm, but good news re placement. (What do you mean if you don't pass!)

THM good news about DS.

Tort I agree with Grouchy. kids don't notice mess (they make it!) Don't be embarrased to have friends round. Also no one with children should like in a tidy house.

To DO:
plenty lol.

TheMadHouse · 04/06/2008 17:13

Well the boys are fed and watching space pirates - bad mummy alert, but I am shattered.

Full of cold, toothache, ear ache and head ache. DH can take over as soon as he gets in. I am going for a bath and a read.

I left the front door unlocked for 3 hours this afternoon I'm really slack with that sort of thing

PiL turned up unannounced this afternoon so I'm pleased I made an effort to FLY this morning The house looked really rather nice

Ds is watching 'Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat' on dvd in preparation for seeing the stageshow tomorrow [excited] We're having a family outing to see it
Dd is at Brownies
Dh is out till late

I'm trying to resist making myself some toast and jam....

At various times I've left the front door, back door and car door open. Lights left on are the least of our problems!

I've just been to Tescos and got 1/2 way round before I noticed I was wearing my slippers

DD1 wants a Diddl cake. You have to know a 9yr old girl to know about Diddl I think. It is a German mouse-type creature.

dylsmum1998 · 04/06/2008 19:19

JAS we had suothern fried chicken with potato smiles and salad in the end!
Scatty Ds said something along those lines when he heard me talking to a friend earlier- his words were Mum if you dont pass you'll just have to do it again and try harder!
mummy its the things like that that reminds me why i dont miss having a man around ruby when we lived in a house that was my trick - until they day i forgot my keys i locked the sodding door that day hadnt i, and the spare keys were in the kitchen

BiancaCastafiore · 04/06/2008 19:21

rofl @ Jas in the supermarket in slippers!
I've never heard of Diddl...off to google now

dylsmum1998 · 04/06/2008 19:21

Jas · 04/06/2008 19:22

BiancaCastafiore · 04/06/2008 19:22

BiancaCastafiore · 04/06/2008 19:22

BiancaCastafiore · 04/06/2008 19:23

I'm looking forward to our outing, just have to get to the theatre then I can relax and enjoy it

mummymusings · 04/06/2008 19:35

hmm not as bad as leaving the car door open in the middle of spain with 26grand in cash stuffed under the drivers seat.. whoops, or smashing a rather expensive tile id insisted he buy 5 hours later when opening boot to get cases (like i knew he was balancing it there!) or the pictures of my naked ass and tummy apparently im a clusterfuck that is a cluster of fucks! im atrocious!

Evening all.
Thanks for kind messages. Not been great today and had no time to tidy anywhere other than basic washing up and washing dried on the line.
We all had routine dentists today. DS1 and DD2 had a hole. I felt terrible. But i know when with me they don't snack on crap between meals so wasn't happy with dentist telling me to stop them snacking! And they are ALL doing well with water. Even DS2 who hardly drank for the 1st few days unless it was milk or juice! And i haven;t drunk orange squash since a banned it!

Off into Matalan tomorrow while DD2 is at pre-school. DS2 wants more boxer shorts! My fault for buying him some a few weeks back for in bed! Now he loves wearing them and doesn;t like pants!

Arrrggghhhh now i have forgotten who said what!

Whoever asked about xmas table cloth- We covered out table in white paper and DC decorated it with xmas drawings then we PVA glue all over to protect it a bit! Will find out pic and put in profile.
