Housework blitz - anyone want to join me this morning?

Would be great to have some company this morning as I try to sort out this tip house

List to do

• tidy living room and dining room
• vacuum and dust
• bathrooms
• clean windows
• laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry...as always
• tidy bedrooms and change bedlinen

First priority is a coffee of course...

I've just had a cafetiere and trying to motivate myself to vacuum & do kitchen floor. Tis hard though as it's the first morning I've had to myself for 2 weeks [sighs]

I need motivation too - need to:

Empty dishwasher
change beds
Tidy mess that is kitchen table
Tidy mess that is island unit
Make about 5 phone calls

Right am off to empty dishwaser and make myself some lunch (am an hour ahead here!)

Have put away clean laundry and cleaned kitchen.
Need to strip beds and wash the bed linen but ds2 is sleeping upstairs and don't want to disturb him so having a coffee instead

Have got paper work to sort out too. Will do that next.

How are you all getting on with your lists? So far I have...

• tidied kitchen and loaded dishwasher
• put out recycling (last night's wine bottle)
• cleaned downstairs loo
• had coffee with a friend who called unexpectedly (thankfully had done jobs above beforehand so house wasn't too nightmarish)

Still to do

• Sort laundry (will do now)
• vacuum and dust
• windows

Plus MORE coffee of course...passes round cups

Working today but just wanted to say 'hi' Toadette - more power to your elbow!

Dishwasher emptied
Washing done and hung out
Another load on
Had lunch

Off to change bed now.

Beds stripped and laundered. Need to put fresh linen on. Hate it when I have to dry clothes indoors.

Another job I forgot about is to do an online shop. Am trying to do that now.

Done the hoovering, bleached the kitchen floor, bath mats out on whirlygig

Well done so far everyone, think how relaxing it will be to have nice, tidy house later

Have sorted out a bit more laundry...how does it build up so quickly??

Bedlinen stripped and has joined the queue for the washing machine

Going to have some lunch now

2 beds stripped - one load in machine
Dentist appointments made.

Shop done. Gosh, it gets more and more expensive.

Still need to make beds and cook dinner then clean up after.
Then only thing I have to do is tidy living room after kids go bed.
