Persil Wonder Wash - awful chemical stuff. Anyone like it?

Just had to give an almost full bottle of Persil Wonder Wash to the neighbour. Does anyone like that stuff?
It smells so chemical, like Febreze and potato peelings mixed together. It was the blue one which wasn’t even as bad as the others I sniffed in the shop at the time.
And it made our clothes smell so strongly too, but not in a fresh and clean way. We all itch even after using half a capful.

Made me realise I was doing the opposite of putting pure things on my family’s skin.
Anyway, indulge me. What’s the household product you couldn’t stand either?

I've got that and like it and I'm not typically a fan of heavily perfumed laundry detergent. I can no longer bear Method products. Now they really do have an overpowering smell.

Have you tried French Cleaning products? French Soaps have some soap flakes that don't have much smell, but laundry is really clean and no chemicals.

I think whenever you get a new one, you really smell it. I hated the persil one and then started to like it.

My favourite is how my mum's washing smells. I think that's just plain old persil powder.

I don’t mind it, and I’m not a fan of a lot of washing stuff. However I don’t use the full amount and tend to only use it for sports kits and swimming towels.

My Mum uses plain Persil too no fabric softener. I love the smell but it never seems to smell the same on my laundry.

I love it, but despite being allergic to exercise and heat, my skin never reacts to anything put on it (which confused dermatology!)
