Yup, obviously having carpet in the bathroom is completely bonkers, but unfortunately our house is rented so we just have to live with it for now.

Not compatible with my 5 year old though.

How can I get rid of this minging stink?

poor you ,is it a very large bathroom or just a normal sized one.If large, a carpet cleaner, rug doctor is good,or a good carpet cleaner like 1001 will do it

What's underneath the carpet?
When we rented we took up the repulsive bathroom carpet, rolled it up & stuck it in the loft & put it back when we left.

Mmm good idea about rolling back the carpet. Might check that out. Have tried 1001 but still smells like a gents urinal in there.

Have also just smashed a whole bottle of sauvginon blanc while putting shopping away, so now scrubbing the kitchen floor too. Am tempted to lick it clean quite frankly

apparently biological washing powder breaks down the enzymes or summat - I have used it on dog wee.

Kim and Aggie sprinkle Bicarbonated Soda on it then hoover it up - thing is (knowing 5yr old boys!) It's probably getting under the carpet so it's still going to be there and you can only mask the smell unless you take the carpet up.
