Any tips how to clean the seal on a shower door?

I replaced my shower door a couple of months ago, the rubber seal at the bottom is already looking a bit grimy, does anyone have any clever ideas of how I should clean it? I was worried if I soaked it in something like bleach ithe rubber would degrade over time

Ooh this reminds me that mine needs cleaning! I take mine off and soak it in a warm shallow bath with a squirt of bleach and a squirt of washing up liquid. Leave it for an hour or so, use a long thin bottle brush type implement (I got mine from B&M) to get into the crevices and get the muck out. Make sure the water is still warm at this point as the warmth and the washing up liquid help to mould it back in when you try to squeeze it along the bottom of the glass.
