Well done gem (what are you studying?).

Sounds like you have things in hand more Ruby. I worry about money too but as long as we aren't in debt (apart frommortgage) I try not to think about it. TBH I think most people with young kids are living quite close to the line these days.

TMH take care.

Grouchy Tis hard work when you are looking after elderly parents as well as a child (and a husband LOL). Your Ed sounds like he's had a good week though.

Still no dusting done. Have been playing with DCs. I find it difficult to get on with jobs in that after school period as DCs seem to need me quite a bit. I have found that if I try to do stuff, I end up getting frustrated (and shouty ).
Will try later.

Hi all

Kids both have Gastroentiritis I have to now starve them for the next 24 hours (and that is easier said than done believe me! DS is climbing the walls!)

DH and I are waiting until they are in bed before we eat.....otherwise that would be very cruel!

I'm off for a run in a bit, haven't been all week so need to get some practice in.

Ruby poor you....that happened to us with our electric bill.....we ended up having a meter put in and then paid the debt off in insallments. We have absolutely no savings whatsoever to soften the blow. Its very annoying isn't it!

Bianca Where are you, I'm missing you. Hope you aren't working too hard.
I haven't had 2 seconds to get on facebook or MSN....but hopefully I will be able to catch up with you soon xxxxx

Oh and the plumber finally arrived this afternoon....so far so good, we have hot water!!!! Fingers crossed he has fixed it for good now.

Evening all

Done

kitchen floor swept
ds bathed
bathroom cleaned
bathroom floor mopped

ruby totally sympathise we are just in the middle of a similar experience following a huge electric and gas bill we now need unexpected major house repairs and have to lay out many thousands which we don't have. Our only cushion was in dp's share ISA which would have enabled us to pay about a third and we are borrowing rest from my parents as there is no way we would get a loan from the bank atm. Unfortunately when dp phoned up yesterday the isa has lost over 1000 in the last few months which leaves us just able to pay the third of the bill but with no safety net left at all and another debt to add to the mounting pile. It is incredibly stressful.
Count me in on the heist!

Evening all.
RR What a shock having a huge bill. Hope you manage to scrape by. I would love wii sports on day too just can't afford one at the moment.
Luda Good luck with starving DC. That will be really hard. Especially hard for them to understand why they can't eat.
TMH Glad all went ok.

My day has been ok. Toddlers this morn. kitchen still looking ok.
Dad not coming until sometime in june now. Storage company messing them around.

Jas · 14/05/2008 20:27

Hi Everyone

Just a quick one from me to night. (though it will take me some time to type this )

I was having a good day. I went to DS1 doctor for our weekly chat this morning.
Done a few little jobs this afternoon. I was feeling very good in myself.

Anyway to cut this down a bit. I had another fall late this afternoon. I was going down 4 steps into our garden (instead of going down the ramp bit made for me to use ) My legs just went to jelly and I fell down the last 2 steps, over some pot plants and end-up in a heap on the patio. I tried to use my hands to help stop me falling but my arms were as bad as my legs. Lucky mum sen it happen and ran out to me. I could not move, I felt like a rag doll.

I was taken to hospital in the van with blue lights (as DD said) checked over and had x-rays etc and some more blood taken for testing but all seemed to be fine so I was allowed to come home. I`m now in bed feeling very very sore and really p!$$ off and with myself for being so stupid for doing something I know I should not have done.

I better go and get some rest. I` feeling very tired, but dont know if I can keep still enough to go to sleep. It hurt to move and I really ache if I stay still.

Im really fed up with myself now. Ill just useless

HN xx
