Friction streaks on black T-shirts?

Hello! I have about 10 black Fresh Clean Threads tees that have suffered the same fate. The material is 60% cotton, 40% polyester. I wash on a mixed cycle, 40C or 30C using Ariel powder, and dry on an indoor line with a dehumidifier in the room.

It sort of looks like friction as you can see in the second photo the texture of those stripes/streaks is different. Almost bobbled. I originally thought it was the dye coming off but used a Dylon dye pod and it didn’t do anything.

Has anyone seen this before? Thanks!

It almost looks like deodorant streaks. Do you use a spray?

What confused me was the change in texture, it looks more like heat or friction marks from the machine. BUT, I grabbed some Dr Beckmann’s stain & deo remover and absolutely soaked the marks before washing again and it worked!!

I use a roll-on, but time to use a new one I think.

thank you
