I'm not going to France in the forseeable future and all the candles I buy seem to have no scent. I've bought yankee candles, laura ashley, m and s, a white company one - and all of them seem to have very little scent.

If I contrast that with burning the last smidgeon of Diptyque I've got left for 10 minutes then the whole house in scented.

Is there any fab candles I'm missing? I've just bought one off ebay (Torbay candles) which was only £5 including p&p so here's hoping.

True Grace candles are REALLY good. I have had loads of Diptyque candles and IMO they are as good if not better as the wax is all natural plant wax and therefore doesn't put sooty particles into the air.

They can be got for about £18 each sometimes cheaper if they have a sale on. I have a Green Fig one on the go at the moment and it beats Diptyque fig completely it is lush. They last 40 hours plus.
