Morning all

I was hoping for a lie in today as the boys didnt go to bed till 10.30 last night and were really good at the party, but no.

We are up, DS1 has a sore willie again, so I am going to have to ring the OOH doctors

The party was great fun and they were really supprised.

I have the washer on

but I am going for a bath

Sounds really hard Bianca. Can you get DH to come to the Drs with you? They are more likely to take you seriously if he is there.

grouchyoscar · 05/05/2008 14:42

Hello and Happy Holiday to you all

Bianca I've mailed you. My nurse put me on Citaloprim for anxiety. It worked for me. Hope the GP can help you.

I've been well busy the past few days. I was out all day Friday, Saturday I did the grocery shop, cat litter, emptying gthe bottle box, mopping floors and various laundry things, inc putting away a huge pile of dry washing in the bedroom.

I've also been making Ed some resources for writing. Producing worksheets, laminating them so he can write on/wipe off etc. This time it's numbers and maths symbols. Took ages to find a division sign for it, thought I'd have to draw one in paint!

Got some good info from his teacher. He can read very well now, trouble is his handwriting is bad as his motor skills are limited. I got him one of those buzzy loop games to help him develop this. Have to hope.

Today I have hung the wet washing out and done some gardening (sorting out plants, sowing seeds, planting herbs, sweeping path etc)

Ed has started his snail house again - new inmate is called 'Chocky' and s/he is quite friendly.

To Do list

Bring washing in
Ironing
Clothes ready for morning
Lunch packs
Ed-ucation (heh heh)

I'll get started at 3 ttfn

Just wanted to say hello all quickly.arrived back last night not read the thread. been washing, hanging washing & then supermarket shop today. Just nipping in before I start getting tea organised & start ironing mountain. We all have full blown colds so all three of use are cranky. TMH it was lovely to meet with you & your cutie findlay. We had really nice time.Hope the surprise party & christening went well.
PS. bianca thank you I love my present.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 05/05/2008 16:04

Oooh. The flylady home page has had a makeover. The rest of the site looks terroble but perhaps they are going to improve it.

Ludaloo · 05/05/2008 17:25

EHM Is it your birthday too?

I have been very busy today as well!
Mowed the back lawn (cannot do the front, as the strimmer broke just as I got to the end of the back lawn, and boy it is waaaay to long for the mower!)

I then tidied the garden, hung loads of washing out, occupied the kids by filling the sand pit with bubbly water.

Then cleaned, polished, hoovered and washed the car....and took the rug out that goes over the seats and washed that...and the rug that goes down in the boot.
All nice and clean! (twas absolutely AWFUL! crumbs, packets of half eaten crisps and chocolate wrappers, half a macdonalds drive through! Millions of drinks cartons, lids, labels, sticky sweets, DH's empty fag packets....GRIM!)

The others are all eating supper but I don't feel at all hungry so I'm passing on that tonight.

Bianca I'm sorry you missed the trip this morning I agree with ruby and TMH though....if you could manage to make it to somewhere for some help....maybe not to your normal GP as he seems very unhelpful! Don't worry, and don't get down on yourself, you are doing soooo well to get on and do things as you do....its not your fault, just remember, and it is perfectly normal....just concentrate on you, and what you can comfortably acheive....you'll get there I know it...you have improved loads since last year as it is!
{HUGS} for you xxxxx

hi all
we've had a really lovely day, we got to london and decided that we'd go to the aquarium the dc loved it, dd was fascinated by the fish. although very crowded, am not good in crowds so missed the ray talk but took dc round when it had finished to look when it was quieter, seems ds may be a bit like me, he got a bit grumpy in the crowds too.
we then went to the nat hist. museum had lots of fun looking at the yucky bugs then went to look in the dinosaur section, dd was loving it but it was so hot and crowded i started having a panic attack and had too leave not had that for yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaarsssssss so was very shocked. had been feeling very good up until then as its the first time since having dd i've gone to london by myself wih dc.
we had a nice wander round the nature garden, something we all enjoy but have never noticed that one before.
have told dc i'll take them back to the museum in a couple of weeks to see the dinos- we'll leave nice and early and hopefully it wont be so crowded

Evening All

Glad people have had good bank holidays. I've been sorting the garden (and laundry washed, out and ironed [smug mode]

Ed is flatly refusing to go to bed. He's in our room until 9. I am far from happy with this, IT'S A SCHOOL NIGHT FPS I would like him to be alert for the day...harumpf Good thing is, he's done some reading and some writing practice.

So, all my jobs have been done so tomorrow should be calm...until he goes to the dentist

Enjoy your evenings x

tortoise · 05/05/2008 21:11

Evening all.
We haven't done much today. I have cleaned behind and around the TV unit. Sooo dusty!
Also just stripped sofa covers and put in WM. Weather looks good tomorrow to get them dry.
Bianca Sorry you missed the outing with DC and DH. Hope you can make yourself book an appointment. I need to book one with dentist. Had terrible tooth ache in and off the last few days.
Sounds like others have had a good day out. Well done Dyls for taking yours out.
GO Is Ed being a little monkey? Hope he sleeps soon. My ds's are still messing around upstairs. DD1 has just woken up. Says she has a sore throat and ear ache. She is coughing a little.

TheMadHouse · 05/05/2008 21:14

Evening all

Well all is quiet in TheMadHouse tonight.

Ironing is done
DW is on
Washer is on

We had a lovley day in the garden, planted our spuds and lettuce and perpetual spinich. All is prepped for the peas. we also planted the sweet peas and some other bits and just generally tidied it a bit and played with the boys. We then had a BBQ

Bainca My dear you know my advice. Please do not let this take over anymore, there are things that can be done. Last GP was a wan* in my opinion. You can have CBT at home - I did. You need to deal with this for the children and your and DHs life

Just a quick hello Everyone

I`ve had a quick scan of todays posts.

Looks like everyone have been very busy or have gone out for the day.

HN household has been busy outside. It has not been sunny today but it has been very very warm. So after all the tidying we done today we all have had hot baths. So its a very clean HN tribe.

Bianca I sort of know how you are went you get all worked up about going out and more so when you dont know where you are going and getting stomach cramps and diarrhoea I cant remember the name of some tables the doctor gave me but they were used for help treat IBS. They might help you with that side of things as well.

Also have you tried looking online to see if any site can help. I did have some booked marked but they got deleted when my laptop crashed a few weeks ago. I remember there are some things you can do to help clam yourself down before a trip.

I found some good sites that really did help me and it was nice to work at my problems by myself. IYKWIM

I know one thing that is good and it did help me. Look up online about the place where you are going to be going to. Find out as much info as you can. Then when you see these things when you get there it sort of feels like you know the place a little, rather than not knowing anything about it.

Look for groups as well. It is better to be in a group of people with the same problems. Believe me there are loads of people who feel just like you do now. So DONT feel stupid!! Your GP should have given you info about these sorts of groups to help you. When you do get to a group and start talking to people with the same sort of problems, this can help loads. Just by talking. I think its because you find out for sure that you are not alone. Well it was for me. Just knowing what people are going to say next before they say it because you feel the same way as they do. Then its time to move forward and talk about ways to help you over come your problems. It will take time but it is well worth it.

So much for being a quick post LOL

I better get to bed. I still have to make DS2 lunch for tomorrow but I will do that in the morning.

Night night

HN xxx
