Morning all

I was hoping for a lie in today as the boys didnt go to bed till 10.30 last night and were really good at the party, but no.

We are up, DS1 has a sore willie again, so I am going to have to ring the OOH doctors

The party was great fun and they were really supprised.

I have the washer on

but I am going for a bath

BiancaCastafiore · 04/05/2008 10:46

Purplepillow · 04/05/2008 11:42

Hi all, just a quick post to let you all know that trinityrhino is doing well and has not forsaken you, she is trying to step back from the comp for a bit.

In fact she is doing so well that she has helped me to declutter my room and later on today I am going to her house to help with some HARDCORE decluttering

Ludaloo · 04/05/2008 13:03

Purplepillow Say hi from me too
Good luck with the decluttering.

Thanks FGS Hows the spots?

Ruby ooooh new garden stuff..lovely, we are just beginning to get the weather for it too!

Well I have just ran 3.4 miles.....nearly there now! Have to do 3.8 on the day.

Came home to find dh has packed a picnic, so we are off up the lake behind our house for the afternoon

Catch you all later

FunkyGlassSlipper · 04/05/2008 13:08

She seems ok atm thanks luda. I'm giving her piriton and calpol every 4 hours and that seems to be helping a lot. It looks gross though She has lots of spots on her face which have reached the ous stage. Last night she shared my bed and insisted on being wrapped around me.

She is enjoying the new Peppa Pig DVD, cbeebies magazines, game of boules and chocolate cake we made this morning though. I dont think I've had to entertain her so much in ages

dylsmum1998 · 04/05/2008 14:28

happy birthday luda

we've just been down tothe sweeps festival dd is fascinted by all the people dancing in the road LOL
then we were playing in the castle grounds where theres a big hill ds was rolling down it.
dd decided to try but doing foward rolls rqather than "log" rolls like ds was doing
she decided that hurt so she's just scooch down on her bum- lovely grass stains on her pale pink tights and jacket, which are now both in a hot wash hoping they come out.

Happy Burthday Luda - I hope you have had a good day.

FGS Sorry about the pox, but at least she is little

Waves to everyone else

We have had a fab weekend upto now. The boys were excellant during the christening service and have had a fab afternoon. Lincoln looked absolutly stunning, he had a little black suit and golden waistcoat.

I am shattered though and have loads to do including the ironing
Wash spare bedding
Tidy spare room
Room rescue the whole house

I also owe DH a lie in as I had one this morning

Hi Girls

Not really read the thread for the weekend, just a quick scan.

Happy Birthday Luda I hope you are having a great day.

I hope your DD is ok with her spots FGS DS2 was covered with them when he got chickenpox. Too many to count them all properly and get the right number. He even had 4 in his mouth and 3 on his tinky winky.

We had had a really shit weekend. DS1 came home Friday morning and he has been off his meds and boy oh boy do we know it. We could not say anything to him without him getting moody and having a really big strop over it. Even nice/good things he would have a strop. Letting him have what he wanted was wrong.

We had to write everything down hour by hour. It was not nice reading He has gone back now to the centre now but he did not want to go which was hard. But he will be put back on his all his meds in the morning so I hope he will be ok tonight.
I think he has something tonight to help him with getting back on all his meds tomorrow and also helps him sleep tonight.

His mentor was very pleased with the why we coped for the weekend. His doctor did tell us how to cope and what things to do and not to do.

It was just so hard for everyone. DS2 was happy to see him go and DD did not seem to worry about him going. (normally she cries) but they are too young to understand what was going on and what was happing to DS1. They just seen it as DS1 was not being very nice and picking on them.

We did have a sort of better day yesterday when we were all outside but DS1 kept walking off in moods and would shout at anyone and pick on DS2 and DD. But it was much better then it was inside.

Next weekend should be ok and much better as he will be on his meds. I hope we have some nice weather then and we can go out and all have some real outside fun

I better get DD in and out of the bath now so DS2 can have his bath and then it is bed time for them both.

I hope everyone are having a good weekend. We had thunder here at lunch time and its been raining on and off. I hope the sun is out tomorrow so we can get outside again.

HN xx

Evening all.
Not caught up on thread but see i need to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUDA.

I made about £30 at the car boot sale. Quite pleased with that. I think the rain put people off looking round.

I am all runny nosed tonight. Not sure if i am getting a cold or if it is hayfever.

Anyone got any plans for tomorrow? We haven't. Will probably be raining anyway!

Jas · 04/05/2008 22:41

We're going to the Natural History Museum for the day with my parets

Well....dp used up loads of spare wood and made a pub style table/bench for the garden today
But my fridge (which is ancient and was on its last legs) has finally died this evening

tortoise · 04/05/2008 22:44

That sounds fun jas. I want a bench!
Sorry your fridge has broken.

Jas · 05/05/2008 07:02

Thanks

I think it is ok again today. It is making alot of noise, but is cold, at least.

I need to get organised, so we're ready to leave when mum and dad get here....t is a two hour drie for them to our house, then the trai into London, so it will be a long day, but the dc love it, and I'm looking forward to seeing the butterfly thing

I hpe everyone enjoys today, and gets no FLYing at all done

Thanks purplepillow for letting us know, I was wondering where trinity was so it is nice to know she is ok....enjoy the declutteing

FunkyGlassSlipper · 05/05/2008 07:07

Have a lovely day Jas.

DD1 appears to be on the mend which is good. I had hoped to get the kids in the garden today but it is all wet so maybe not. We cant really go anywhere because of DD and DH and are I are both tired so it could be a tetchy day

Jas · 05/05/2008 07:09

I hope today is the start of things getting better for her FGS(and you)

TheMadHouse · 05/05/2008 07:59

Morning All

Jas Enjoy your day out and I hope the fridge is OK

FGS I hope the weather gets better and that you have a good day

Me and DS1 are up, he is feeling a bit better, so the antiBs must be working, at least it doesnt hurt to pee any more.

We are planning a day in the garden, so are hoping for decent weather. We need to pop to the local nursery for a few little bits then we are going to potter.

I am hoping for a relaxing day as the weekend has been far too busy

OP posts:
dylsmum1998 · 05/05/2008 08:01

we off to london for the day today
ds choose what we are doing so off to get everything ready!

Ludaloo · 05/05/2008 08:20

Morning All :0)

Jas Your fridge sounds like ours...it just about struggles on. Every now and then we have to hit the side of it to knock the thermostat thingy back on!

FGS Glad DD seems brighter.

TMH Enjoy your relaxing day at home, glad the antibiotics have done the trick.

Dylsmum Enjoy London!

Weather is gorgeous here this morning. Sun is shining brightly. I think today will be a lazy day at home too....may even cut the lawn, and tidy the garden up a bit.

Bianca I forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Friday It just occured to me that although I had sent a card on time, I had got the day wrong in my head!
Hope you had a good day though....and glad your evening was enjoyable

It is our Wedding Anniversary today......9 years! We met 12 years ago, but have been married 9. Good lord! How have we managed it!?
Alan has work today though, he took the day off yesterday and is now having to catch up a bit.
It is his birthday then tomorrow (busy month May!)
We chose the day inbetween our birthdays so neither of us would forget! (and so we could have an extra party!)

It is also my neighbours birthday today, so I'll have to drop a card round to her.
I have also had two friends birthdays, both on the 4th like me, and Al's nan was 70 on Saturday! Busy, busy, busy!!

Anyway....off to make breakfast.

Catch you all in a bit

Ludaloo · 05/05/2008 09:17

Well have put a load of washing in...
Tidied kitchen
Collected dirty washing
Tidied living room
Still not dressed so I'd better go and do that!
