Shark hydrovac OR Samsung Jet 65 Pet cordless hoover

I'm torn between these two!

I'm leaning towards the hydrovac as it cleans up spills aswell as dirt but we have a dog who sheds alot and I like it has removable parts to use in the car and small spaces.

Im constantly hoovering/sweeping everywhere maybe 3 times a day as our living/kitchen area everyone enters from outside bringing in tiny stones etc. we have just moved in to our self build.

It's driving me insane, we also have a messy toddler. I don't mop everyday as I don't have time (have a flash mop to give a quick run over) so that's why I'm leaning more to the hydrovac 😬

PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE 🙃

If all else is equal, which one is the heaviest? I love our Shark and it's very effective but with its foot on it's a lot heavier than our last hoover and if there was another vacuum the same but lighter I'd buy that.

@JaneandtheLaundry I'm not sure iv not seen them in person. The hydrovac looks to be the heaviest as it has a bulky head but it would also be on the ground whereas the Samsung you can lift up to do high areas etc. must actually go in and see if I can see them both in store. My local has good Black Friday deals on both online!

The other tiebreaker would be battery time to recharge. Battery life doesn't bother me, but our last cordless vacuum (a Bush) wouldn't work again until it was fully recharged and that took 8 hours! Sharks recharge fairly quickly and you can use them after a partial recharge. Sorry, I don't know anything about the Samsung one.

A lot of online retailers do tell you the weight, too. I've just done some digging, and ASDA says the Shark Hydrovac only weighs 1.2kg so that's actually much lighter than my Shark Anti-Hair Wrap. The Samsung is 2.3kg according to the Samsung website so it's quite a bit heavier than the Shark. I've got a 3-floor house so that would swing it for me that I'd buy the Shark.

God I really wasn't expecting it to be lighter, but thank you for looking that up! Yes the recharge is a factor too. Just looked ip reviews on it elsewhere and had bad reviews on its ability on picking up hair, which is a massive factor for me 🙈

Oh no! There's nothing worse than a vacuum that can't pick up pet hair! I just assumed they would both be able to because my Shark Anti-Hair Wrap is quite good at it. Many many years ago we had the Vax Wet and Dry Pet vacuum which didn't live up to its name.
