Has anyone got a vacuum cleaner that vacuums and mops? (Not a robot one). If so, which one have you got? Do you like it?

All my floors are hard and I am despairing of the amount of dust and hair that gathers. Hoovering and mopping is a huge task as the house is big. I just want an easier way to do it! Has anyone got one of those dual purpose vacuum cleaners (like the Dyson submarine one but ideally cheaper!)? Thanks

I have a Bissell and I love it!!!!

if the floor was particularly dirty I’d use a broom/normal hoover first but yeah I absolutely love it!

Which model do you have @Littlemissnikib ? I've seen that the Bissell does come highly rated.

Also I have painted wooden floors, so I think I can't use a steam mop on them but can use a hot water mop iyswim

I have a. Bissell Crosswave. Don't love it as much as I used to. It would be fine on your painted floors.

I just got out of the habit of using it, mostly because it was a faff cleaning it. I prefer my Shark for vacuuming because it is better, I think.

Sorry to have taken so long to respond but I have the Crosswave Pet Pro.

I have the karcher hard floor cleaner and I love it. However, It only picks up small bits and I have to clean it everything I use it. I have Karndean flooring and it shows every bit of fluff , the Karcher is the only thing I've found that picks up all the tiny bits and leaves it spotless. If there are bigger bits I would have to hoover first.

so in this review a Vax comes out top and is cheaper than the Bissell.

Sorry I hadn't refreshed before posting and didn't see the new posts. The Karcher doesn't perform as well in the GH tests.
