Hoover vs Shark for golden retriever shedding hair!

I've had a Henry for 20 years, it's on it's last legs so I bought a Shark which is really heavy. The Henry is also heavy when you need to pick it up. So thinking I'll get the one with the best suction. My carpets are old, so the hairs embed themselves. Any advice? Thanks

Miele cat and dog is your best bet.

I have a shark upright anti hair wrap (not cordless) and think it's the best one I've ever had for picking up dog hairs

New Henry's just are not what they used to be. Ok for hard floors or using the nozzle . Otherwise duff.

I have the shark anti hair thing it is good (also have a golden retriever) I do use the rubber brush on the carpet to get hair up then go over with hoover it’s never ending

I have Miele cat and dog and a Shark cordless; also have a Eufy and have had a Dyson cordless. Hands down the Miele does the best job and the Eufy keeps on top of the retriever (and cat) hair on a daily basis. Shark and Dyson have both been expensive mistakes for me!

Neither! I've tried both and wasn't overly impressed. Then I bought a Samsung stick vacuum with pet tool thinking I'd just use it on the stairs and it's so good it's all I use now. So light and easy having a handheld. Battery lasts about half an hour on my model which I find is fine as it charges quickly. But I think some have space batteries or longer battery life. Gets up loads more hair than anything else I've tried.

Neither. Get another Henry (corded).
