Any practical use for old shoulder bags before they go to charity? Storage, etc?

Having started decluttering, I've found 4 shoulder bags that are no longer any use. They're not in good enough condition to sell on Vinted, so will probably take them to charity (have seen worse in charity shops...) However, before I do, I'm wondering if there are any practical uses for old bags? Anything that can be stored in them?

Are you seriously asking if there's anything that can be stored in a bag?!

I have several travel vanity travel cases that were originally bags. I find travel cases quite small and either ugly, cheap looking or very expensive. So for me this is a good solution - get a nice but old fashioned leather bag with zip, take handles and other crap off, and you have a perfect travel vanity case!

@localnotail - Thanks, that's a great suggestion. Actually, one of the bags is probably perfect for a large cosmetic bag if I remove the very long strap. This is the kind of thing I meant - thinking of ways to repurpose the items rather than just getting rid of them.

You could use one across your body as a peg bag.

I use an old bag for storing the important photos I want the family to have after I have died. The family know where they are.

I keep an old shoulder bag in my suitcase to use when travelling. It saves emptying out my regular bag when I go on holiday.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have had a few more ideas for what to use them for, and hopefully it will help keep a drawer/cupboard or two a bit tidier!
