What is the best washing powder / softener for nice smelling clothes?

I used to use blue comfort a few years back and would make my clothes smell lovely for days !! I feel like it's really watered down now ?

I am currently using lenor unstoppables which is lovely but so expensive !

I do have a dryer which doesn't help but used to have lovely smelling clothes in the dryer with blue comfort but it's just not the same anymore 😓

Any recommendations would be appreciated ❤️

I've just started using this: Fairy Non Bio Platinum Washing Pods Silk Tree Blossom & Jasmine

It really does smell gorgeous! Pair it with Fairy 'Outdoorable' fabric softener and the fresh smell lasts for weeks! I just got round to putting away a basket of laundry that I did a couple of weeks ago, and it still smells amazing!

I use Clothes Doctor basil and mandarin detergent and conditioner - it smells really lovely and the smell lasts well.

Serious Tissues sell those packaging free laundry leaves, which smell (subtly) lovely.

Method tropical coconut.

I really love the new Persil Wonder Wash - I've used the blue one, though the other two (aqua green and pink) seem nice too.

Oh yes!!! I've tried this and it's amazing

I love fairy jasmin conditioner with the little scent booster beads (not sure what they're called!).
It is by far the longest fresh smelling product. The beads are expensive though, but I think most conditioners have reduced in scent quality now to get people to buy all of these scent boosters!!

I sound like I should really get a life but me and my mum came to the same conclusion 🤣 we believe it’s a marketing ploy because we’re forced to buy the beads and they are so expensive! Honestly blue comfort if any lenor fabric softener alone would last for days !! I’ve noticed fairy capsules aren’t as good now I have never tried the platinum pods but will be trying them I bet they smell much stronger ! X

Smol. I'm a total convert.

Fab con and those scent beads are awful for clothes, washers and the environment.

The big brands all smell nice imo - the trick is to switch often so you don't go nose blind to it. I'm using Surf tropical after using Fairy and have really noticed a difference!
