ceramic hobs - is there any other way apart from scrubbing my arm off?

can I put something on and then wander away and let it work and then come back and miraculously be able to wipe it

not every day, I mean now and again

when I have not been bothered to clean it for a day or two and it has all stuff stuck to it

I use hob brite and usually clean it at least once a day when cleaning the worktops. If something is burnt on I do use a glass scraper - I know you can buy a scraper specially for ceramic hobs, but I have assumed it is similar to a glass scraper. My ceramic hob is 11 years old and still looks fine.

yes hob brite is what I use

but sometimes I don't clean it once a day

am looking for slattern option

it is not big globs that you can hack off but more little spots iyswim

I squirt Cillit Bang on my ceramic hob every evening when clearing the kitchen and then use a Hob-Brite equivalent every few days or so.

Hob is just fine and is 10 years old.

heat up some vinegar in the micro ....apply. it will lift almost anything!

I use "Astonish". It's a paste in a pot which you just scrub on and wipe off.

a metal scourer?

I use hob brite which works fine, I leave it on for ages though as it seems to work better.
But it doesn't take off the little spots whatever they are, I've seen a ceramic hob scraper which is a razor blade but wasn't sure to use it as didn't want to sratch it.

Also at the metal scourer
