How to get rid of bird poo on slide

When mowing the lawn last week I moved the slide under a tree and forgot to put it back.
Now it’s covered in bird poo.

I’ve scrubbed with a brush, washing up liquid and blasted it with a hose but it’s still caked on. It’s plastic and the poo just doesn’t want to budge!

Any tips or product recommendations for removing it please?

Cif

You need a Karcher!

@Tygertiger a pressure washer is out of my budget right now that would probably cost more than the slide 😂

i’ll try pick up some cif and see if that works.

Are you scrubbing it immediately after wetting it, I find when getting it off my car that it's better to thoroughly wet it, leave a few minutes to soften the poo then wipe it off. Dont leave it long enough to dry up though.

Cif or the pink stuff with a scrub daddy. I find the combo of a scrub daddy + pink stuff gets everything up

@CurlsLDN I’ll give it a go. Hopefully it doesn’t scratch the plastic 🙂

@FlabMonsterIsDietingAgain yep- poured a bucket of water over it. I’ll give it a go later with a really wet sponge instead of the scrubby brush.

soak in soapy water before scrubbing. Maybe wet and then leave saturated cloths over it for an hour or so, or lie it flat so the water can sit on it.

Personally I would risk chucking a kettle of boiling water over it, but I don't know if that might damage your slide.
