Descaling (the outside of) a kettle

I live in an area with scaly water, so I have to descale my kettle regularly. It's a nice glass one, and it's also got a scale buildup on the outside (I guess where water has dripped down from the spout) and around its lid.

I've tried rubbing lemon juice on those bits to remove the scale marks, but it didn't touch them. Any ideas please?

Reuse the boiled descaler that you used inside - tip the kettle, also pour onto dishcloth and leave it to soak for a couple of mins then wipe away.

Thanks, I'll give that a try

White vinegar is better than lemon juice for superficial scale removal.
Try rubbing over with vinegar.
