Chest freezer - looking for a good, reliable manufactuer and model. Any recommendations?

My current chest freezer is about 20 years old and it's not at all efficient compared to new models, the compressor is also starting to sound a bit strange of late, therefore I think it's time for a few one.

Which manufacturers make them to be good, reliable and long-lasting, also preferably with good customer service? Or do such things not exist in these short lifespan, throwaway times?

I'm looking for one of the wider models, not the 'compact' variety.

I do note that there is a 'best of' list at the following link:

but I'd rather get recommendations from folks here who have actual experience of a make and model lasting months or years..

To add to the above - I don't want anything flashy with regards to controls and/or displays, no remote control or monitoring needed either; my current Skandiluxe only has a simple 'fast freeze' button and that's good enough.

Do you keep it in the house or is it in an unheated garage or outbuilding. That will make a big difference as modern freezers won't all operate at low temperatures.

I keep it in the house (or rather the utility room which does get a bit chilly in winter (maybe down to 13C or thereabouts at times)). There is a radiator in there but the room does cool down rapidly when going in and out of the back door. The current Skandiluxe CF309 chest freezer has been in there for about 20 years.
