Morning

I have no blood left at all. four viles results next week.

Ruby bedrooms seem a little small, but it seems perfectly proportioned though.

You could convert the garage to an additional room.

TMH Well at least you have no need to fear vampires.

Have chucked out a bag full of mankey bath toys. And only have one big wash basket of washing to empty! Need to buy more wash powder and softner 1st though! Probably about 4 loads in there to do.

DontDreamItBeIt · 17/03/2008 11:34

Ruby - It sounds small but not ridiculous. Is it new(ish)? All th bedroomsseem a bit small tbh. 2 and 3 would only really be singles, and 3 is a box room (dd1s is 6'6 x 9' and she loves it but def not alot of room.)
Kitchen is bigger than mine but I guess it depends what you are used to.

Morning jobs all done

I'm going to go and play with ds.....

Minkus · 17/03/2008 11:56

Hello everyone

I haven't had a chance to catch up on the weekend thread, as I have been a Good Girl and flying all morning so might reward myself with a sticker in a mo

Agree with others Ruby that bed 3 seems a little small, (and bed 2 isn't that much bigger maybe?) although my nephews' room is this size (he's 3.5) and with some clever underbed storage ideas my sis manages very nicely. Maybe it will feel different if you view it, like you've said.

EHM I do hope the test is a positive one, thinking of you.

dontdreamitbeit your hoodie tale made me smile in recognition, on Saturday I gave my hair a really good scrub as when I took the hair bobble out my ponytail stayed in place- my hair was so vile and grubby! Was v embarrassed.

So far have:

Fed 3 humans and one cat breakfast
DS to nursery
Done proper clean in bathroom
Unloaded dw/reloaded bfast things
Jiffed sink (it's soooo shiny!)
1 load washing done and on line, another in
Folded washing tumbled overnight

Still want to:

Do bathroom mission
Wipe down dark brown leather sofas after a weekend of weetabix abuse
Hoover downstairs
Dust hallway
What's for dinner
5 minute room rescue in conservatory

DS has routine eye test later and so need to pick him up from nursery early, after the illnesses in our household all last week (dh and ds, tummy bugs and man flu) I was blimmin glad that they both were tip top this morning and went to nursery/work so I could have a little time on my own. Selfish maybe but I was going to pop after trying to be mummy/ wife/ nurse/ chief cook and bottle washer for the last week.

Off to tackle the to-do list.

Grouchyoscar · 17/03/2008 12:02

I've been sat in the kitchen doing nothing all morning

Tho I did pop out to hang a load of washing out, bet it rains now

Must gen up for tomorrow's interview BBl

I have tidied and hoovered throughout, so the place looks quite alright!

Off to drop my DD2 at my friends while I go to Welsh Lessons.

Catch you all later

TheTortoiseandtheEasterbunny · 17/03/2008 12:16

Grrrrr! Silly DD2 left the front room door open and Mickey got upstairs. Chewed her hopping rabbit toy. Now she wants me to get her another one! And Mickey caught my thumb with his tooth trying to grab it back off me! Luckily just scraped a bit of skin off. he has his muzzle on now!

DontDreamItBeIt · 17/03/2008 12:28

Why couldn't he have chewed something she didn' really love??

MWW - I remember you too

GO You did exactly what you were supposed to do

Minkus - Nice to know I'm not the oly one!

dylsmum- I hope the dr can do something for dd

I've just realised the whole morning has gone I thought it was about 10 o clock.

Oh, well. I'll have lunch and get started on the bathroom.

TheTortoiseandtheEasterbunny · 17/03/2008 12:39

Hi All.
Thinking of you EHM.
Good luck to DS THM.
Hi Madwelshwoman. I've recently reboarded the FLYwagon too. So far so good.

Had crazy WE as the house is upside down with builders (the dining tables in our bedroom, the sofas are stacked up in the dining room, tis chaos!)

Not getting much flying done as spending all my time keeping DCs out of the way.

Laundry pile is overflowing as no where to dry clothes. Had to buy more knickers and trousers for DD!

Only 2 weeks left. .

Ruby, that house sounds similar size to mine (only mine has 2 bedrooms), hence the extension!

dylsmum1998 · 17/03/2008 12:52

dream i hope so too she has been poorly for 2 weeks now. warning RANT on the way need to realise steam - sorry!
cant get a sodding appointment at the doctor still, sit on hold for 15 mins tobe told, sorry we only taking emergency appoints only, you'll have to phone back at 2!!!!!! what classes as an emergency these days? dd isnt 2 yet, has had diarheoa and sickness for 7 days was ill witha virus for a week before that, has now not had a wet nappy since 7.30 last night and has drifted in and out of sleep since 8 am this morning. when she is awake she whinging ( not her fault obviously) and is still being sick!

scattyspice · 17/03/2008 13:00

dylsmum, take her to A+E if you can't get GP appt. They really don't mind what you bring your LOs in with. Good luck.

Madwelshwoman · 17/03/2008 13:13

Thanks for the welcome back guys!!! Anyway just dropped ds at school and a quick glance upwards tells me it should be ok to drag out the Dyson for the car clean! It has an MOT next week so I'd rather not be ashamed to have someone look inside it other than me . Haven't really finished in the house yet, still lots to do but if I don't do the car now I won't have the chance when the kids are home for the hols!

Ruby yes a cupboard can be beautiful, I often wonder how sad I am when I go all Sleeping with the Enemy on the cupboards

Dylsmum take her to a and e or request a dr house call, phone NHS Direct if you have too, poor mite. I know my hospital has an out of hours gp as I usually end up taking my lot there for one thing or another and they're very good. Bloody drs.

Still thinking positive thoughts for EHM

TheTortoiseandtheEasterbunny · 17/03/2008 13:14

dylsmum1998 Poor DD. hope you can get her seen soon. I think i would goto A&E if she isn't weeing.

Bathroom is clean and tidy. [chuffed emoticon]]
