Why is my dishwasher doing this?!?

My dishwasher keeps leaving my glasses dirty. There's always tiny "bits" all over them (doesn't seem to stick to the plates fortunately!!) I've washed the filter, made sure the water jet holes are clear but it's still doing it and driving me crazy!!!! Any advice?

Why is my dishwasher doing this?!?

Branded (ie finish) dishwasher detergent helps (vs some own brands, especially the eco ones). Also top up rinse aid and salt.

Do you check that the arms can spin before starting the machine? Sometimes something is too tall in the bottom or hanging down through a gap in the top drawer and stops the arms from spinning freely.

Also, my filter is in 3 parts - are you cleaning every part of yours?

Is your top drawer level? If the height adjusts, it can be easy to accidentally not have both sides on the same level.

Is this a sudden thing?

This happened to me a few months ago. I tried everything - and was on the verge of calling someone in, but sometimes it improved, other times it was awful.

Then I realised that one of the removable components wasn't pushed back in fully. When it was, it worked perfectly. It's been washing perfectly ever since.

I had tried everything, including pulling it out and moving the hose around, so was so relieved when I worked it out.

Might be worth checking yours for similar?

Just seen @JadeSeahorse said similar! Wish I'd asked on MN all those months ago and got this reply - would have saved me a week of stress!!
