Best washing products for amazing smelling clothes

Please can you recommend your best combo's for amazing smelling washing?

I feel like my clothes don't smell clean after being washed 😭

I keep my washing machine very clean, it has a drum clean cycle which i do about once every 2 weeks with other cleaning in between if needed (it's a washer dryer) but I feel like my clothes don't smell clean once dried. They smell lovely when they first come out of the wash but once they've finished drying on the clothes horse I feel like they either smell musky or like a weird sour smell. I've tried new products but nothing seems to work and I feel it will only get worse once the autumn and winter months come around 😩

If there's an underlying issue, nothing will make your washing smell good. Artificial scents will not cover a fungal or bacterial smell. I'd disinfect your washing machine and wash clothes with halo or similar, then only line dry outdoors, until the smell has gone, then take your pick.

Your water temperature isn't hot enough.

Check the fabric first to see if it is safe to wash in higher temps. Use 60 degrees and white vinegar in the rinse.

I also like Smol, but also just wanted to comment that if I fill my machine it doesn't smell good. Smaller loads on a quicker wash always smell a lot better.
