I'm on a CLEANING MISSION - anyone want to join me??

Hi dp has taken dc's out so i'm on a mission, although I have no hot water or heating, i'm still in my dressing gown waiting for the plumber to come!

Right in the meantime I am going to clean the house from top to bottom and do the food shopping (if the plumber comes and i can have a bath in time to go!!!!)
I've stripped the beds and most of the washing is done I cleaned the bathroom yesterday and the kitchen is fairly tidy and clean already.

So it's just a case of.........
wiping everything down
empty dishwasher
hoovering everywhere
sorting the toys
putting all the clean washing away
re-making the beds once its all washed and dried
clean the fridge out
Clean the leather sofa
sort under the stairs
Could also do with washing mine and dd2's coat and mine also needs the pocket sewing

What do you need to do and will you join me??

Need to

Put the clothes away that DH ironed this morning.
Do the washing from our trip
Pair all the socks up
Dust/Polish
Empty last few bags and put stuff away (from trip)
Make a list of the stuff that I left at my brothers and call him and ask him to send them (includes baby bottle brush, phone charger, DS's hairbrush and a few other items).
ermm I'm sure there's more which I shall think of/find as I go along.

Ok meet back here at 1.30 for a cuppa? Ready steady go!

right so i've done....
ok nothing on the list but I have sorted and
made hot water work
tidied dd2's room
had a bath
hoovered upstairs
been on the phone complaining about the lack of heating and water and written a letter of complaint
tidied and wiped down the bathroom
tidied the living room
done dishwasher

NOw i'm about to eat lunch, get dressed, sort more washing, put some clothes away and go food shopping

I haven't done much

The last lot clothes is in the washing machine
I've put some of the ironed stuff away
Nearly finished emptying the bags
oh and I've just made lunch which i'm about to eat

oh - i've sorted the DS's beds too

i've now eaten and dried my hair! wish the stuff in the tumble would hurry up, i've got 1 wet load in machine and 2 waiting to go in not counting coats or my own bedding!

I've put the wet load on a spin cycle to try and get it mostly dry!

Off to make a start.

It is a mess upstairs as hubby fitting new loft hatch and ladder.

did downstairs on friday but need to do kitchen and under stairs cupboard. same old, same old...

like being a hamster on a wheel ey NAB!

And why when i decide i'm going food shopping does it look like it's going to rain!

Hamster wheel is just what I was thinking!

I climbed on the counter to see on top of the cupboards and they are all dusty. Yuk. Also found another job for DH to do and really the house is full of little jobs that shouldn't take that long to do but never get done.

I have just cleaned the sink, are washing DS1's trainers to see if they come clean enough to pass on and have swept the floor. Still loads to do.

i keep trying to sort all the junk out and sort the cuboards out i went in the attic and had a sort out not much tho still looks awful but have got some stuff to sell and i put some stuff on freecycle to so i might go upsatirs and sort the babies cuboard out any tips ofr sorting cuboards out
