hi,thought i would post here as need some top tips

basically my son cooks for himself and cooks steaks in the oven,he is banned now and uses the hob but now the smoke alarm keeps going of im guessing its where the meat has spitted all over the top of the oven

so does anybody have any tips for cleaning the top,its electric oven but have never cleaned the top where the element is,ive cleaned the rest but this obviously is where the offending fat is

any help would be very welcome, now the oven is going of even with just a jacket potato in,im not happy

thank you

Buy a small bbq and that can be what he uses. I never cook steak inside, ever.

lol thats what my mum said
well the smoke alarm has stopped going off and have warned him if he cooks it again in there he can pay for a oven cleaner to clean it next time at great cost
