I bought a cream coloured fabric sofa at least 10 years ago, and when I ordered it they offered to apply Scotchguard to it to help keep it clean, so I agreed.
Several years later, I still have the sofa but the cushion covers are looking a bit grey and I think they could do with a good wash. I never reapplied any Scotchguard, but I don't know how long the original application would've lasted. I was told not to wash the covers because of the Scotchguard, but since so much time has passed, would it be OK? Does anyone know? I'd love my soda to look nice and clean again!
