‘Wet dog’ smell on washed dishes from dishwasher - Help!

Despite cleaning every part of my dishwasher thoroughly (and keeping on top of this), using intensive wash, vinegar, soda crystals, a dishwasher cleaner on several occasions, checking pipes / hoses etc., my dishes on most occasions have this awful smell! The water itself doesn’t appear to smell in the sump, filter or hoses. I have to hand wash them before I use them as it puts me off. Has anyone else had/have this problem to be able to help please?

And I don’t eat eggs!

I find this if I use finish or lemon scented detergent

I switched from Finish to Fairy and it solved the problem.

I agree lemon scented tablets cause a weird damp smell.
