Help...spilt foundation all over my rental bedroom carpet!!

A full open pot of very creamy foundation landed face down on a medium grey manmade fibre carpet.

I immediately dabbed the (huge) area lightly with cloth ad then soaked in eye make up remover. There's a very large stain.

What's the best carpet cleaner/approach?

There's leftover carpet if I have to do a patch job at the very worst -I'd have no idea how to do that though.

Any recommendations very welcome please.

Try n get it out with soap n water. Then get rug cleaner with the bristles.

Use the Dr Beckman carpet cleaner. It is a miracle worker for spot stains. Don't scrub it with water and soap etc.... as it will set the stain.

Try builders wipes, like wonder wipes. They'll get silicone off, grease, oil and paint, so I'm betting they'd deal with your foundation!

The pink stuff spray got fake tan out of the cream carpet in my dd room

I used Micellar water when I got foundation on the carpet. Apparently shaving foam works too. You have to dab it up. Whatever you do don't rub because you'll just be rubbing it in.

Another vote for the pink foam spray can by Vanish. Tried a few and this worked best. Might need a couple of treatments. We successfully got black coffee out of white/cream carpet in a rental house. Good luck.

Make remover for the face. If you have a good brand that breaks it down properly. I don't even mean boots own brand or garnier

It was meant to say "makeup remover"
