finally I think it time to get a dryer to stop the endless bits of clothes hanging everywhere. The only place is in the garage. Is this possible to put a dryer here?

and then if you have one, please let me know the make of the one you love

I have a Beko condenser dryer in the garage for the past 6 years and it's never been a problem.

Yup. We’ve got a 20 year old Miele still going strong. We drilled a hole through the outside wall to vent it.

I had a condenser dryer in the garage for years too. No problems. Don't remember the make, cheapest one in currys probably 😀

I have a Beko condenser too! It’s great, and you can put a condenser drier anywhere as it doesn’t need an outlet, though it’s handy to be able to tip out the water container somewhere close.

I had a condenser drier in the garage. Put it on a worktop so it was a good height with space on the worktop for a washing basket to help the emptying and sorting. It was great as it was out of the way and being in the garage was never an issue. We already had electricity in the garage for the spare fridge freezer.

Also have a Beko condenser in the garage!

We had a condenser dryer under the stairs in our old house and kept the door open when on, it would heat the lounge quickly.

No issue with it being in garage

thank you everyone - so it looks like I am looking for a condenser dryer (no outlet needed) - going to google the Beko ones
appreciate the suggestions

dont get a heat pump one, there was a thread on here that said they didn’t work in garages due to the lower air temperature than a house.

I bought an indesit vented one recently and it’s in the garage. It’s great 45 mins for a load

We started with a dryer in the garage, which is integrated with the house rather than a separate building.

If I had known we could have a washer dryer there, I'd have gone with the washer dryer from the start.

Great to have towels dried, far better to have them washed and dried all in one go.
