NNNNGGGGHHH fucking limescale spots.

If you're in London or another area with seriously hard water have you found a 'spray and go' product which actually works?

Don't come on to gloat if you are in a lovely gentle soft water area. Just read the OP, snigger to yourself and be on your way.

It’s the Co-op own brand shower spray. The link works ok for me. 🤔
here is a pic of the actual bottle instead.

You don’t need a spray or a squeegee. You just need to dry the surfaces after use with a soft absorbent cloth. I use an old tea towel and it takes less than 30 seconds after a shower. I can guarantee that my water is a great deal harder than yours - I have a private supply in a limestone area - and this has worked well for me for many years.

I was told my my installer that sprays leave a film and eventually makes the tiles look worse. Do they actually work then?

Do you use the spray before a shower and wipe after. Probably the hardest water in Britain here!

Another Method devotee here. Great stuff.

I know it's terribly unfashionable, but I have a curtain for this reason. The bathroom designer thought I was mad, but it does the job and goes in the washing machine with a drop bleach every few weeks to keep it mildew free and no daily cleaning job

Another Method Ylang ylang devotee here!

I’ve yet to find anything that works. I use Method purely because it smells nice (and to look as though I’m at least making an effort!) but the difference is negligible.

I wonder if you're from the same place I've just moved away from!

I just clean weekly using Viakal, and squeegee after every shower.

I have a bottle of the Method stuff (not the ylang ylang one because it gives me a headache - the passion fruit one). It does absolutely nothing, wouldn't buy it again, I'm just using it up.

We squeegee the shower down after a shower. Takes seconds to do. Clean with a vinegar window cleaner. Shower drain gets toilet descaler down it. Shower head is tipped upside down and the pipe shaken after every shower and on the shower try to encourage it to drain out. - or you end up with limescale as shampoo!
