I'm totally addicted to the smell of clean washing and have finally realised that it's Lenor Outdoorables that really last the longest and smell amazing. Does anyone know of an equivalent that works on carpets? I'm talking about a shake and vac kind of thing, not a deep wash. I have seen a few things on etsy, and just wondered if anyone had tried them?

I use the shake n vac type on our carpets, the nice smell doesn’t last long, but it’s better than nothing.

Thanks both. I'll investigate!

Buy a fragrance oil in the scent you like. Essential oils work just as well

Mix 20-30 drops with 2 big mugs of bicarbonate of soda.

Shake over carpet, leave 30 minutes and vacuum.

Ooo, this is interesting. Like a DIY shake n vac in my favourite flavour? Great idea! Thanks

I use Unstoppables on the fusty carpet at my parents’. Just shake them over and leave for a bit then vacuum up. Plus makes the vacuum cleaner smell good when it’s next used.
