Who the f**k irons their towels??

Or am I the only freak who's never done this or heard of it being done?

Is it some unspoken rule that everybody in the world knows about except me?

(not tea-towels, proper big fluffy towels)

People who don't have a dryer and find them too hard maybe?

pippylongstockings · 03/01/2008 15:03

Who do you know that does iron their towels???

very odd if you ask me.

I iron very little - very very little.
In fact I iron the front of my work shirt only!
I don't iron any of my kids clothes, or my DH clothes or my own. maybe I'm a slob?

MascaraOHara · 03/01/2008 15:03

I have no idea. seriously, I laughed and then they looked at me blank faced like I was an eejit for not doing that... but seriously though.. what's the point? why would you?

But have a friend who irons everything including towels, socks and even the lining of her ironing basket!

SorenLorensen · 03/01/2008 15:05

I had a friend who ironed her knickers. Freak.

ShrinkingViolet · 03/01/2008 15:06

my mum does, but she irons everything except socks "because it makes it neater when it's folded".

MascaraOHara · 03/01/2008 15:06

my mother irons socks and pants!

sweetkitty · 03/01/2008 15:08

My MIL irons everything that comes out of the washing machine then hangs it over a airer to dry it. She lives alone and only has her clothes to do (and towels).

MascaraOHara · 03/01/2008 15:08

kittylouise · 03/01/2008 15:09

My mum's best friend irons everything. Including flannels, socks and tea towels. Tea towels I ask you

Kewcumber · 03/01/2008 15:09

anyone who irons the lining of their ironing basket needs to get out a bit more.

scatterbrain · 03/01/2008 15:34

I used to iron everything in the days before children ! Now I iron very little !

TheIceQueen · 03/01/2008 15:38

I iron towels.....and pants - don't iron socks or bra's though. I just think they look nicer folded neatly without creases than with

mosschops30 · 03/01/2008 15:40

Ironing is such a waste of my life and time.

I iron dd's school uniform
My work uniform

and thats it!!! Why on earth would you want to iron socks, pants, towels, bedding etc. I just dont get it. Some people have way too much time on their hands

MascaraOHara · 03/01/2008 15:40

do towels get creased?

OP posts:
yaddayah · 03/01/2008 15:43

Easywriter · 03/01/2008 15:44

Sorry Mascara just wanted to point out your mistake.

Two words too many in your title. Last two words are surplus to requirements so far as I can tell.

MascaraOHara · 03/01/2008 15:46
