I used to have a cleaner who used Method multipurpose spray and a microfibre cloth.

I used hot soapy water (before I did the washing up) and the same kind of cloth.

Greentomatoes21 · 03/11/2021 13:56

Someone recommended glass cleaner to me

Dontmindasking · 03/11/2021 19:34

I use method and I like the glass cleaner @Greentomatoes21

Thanks @veryouting2021 I don’t have a micro fibre cloth so maybe that’s where I’m going wrong!

Koh cleaning spray works well on ours

IntemperateSpirits · 03/11/2021 19:57

Microfibre cloth and either glass cleaner, or hot water with washing up liquid and another MF cloth to dry with.

FenceSplinters · 03/11/2021 19:57

Glass cleaner works a treat.

FinallySomeNormality · 03/11/2021 19:59

I use a micro fibre cloth too. Wash them with usual cleaning spray but I then buff them with a cloth and multisurface polish afterwards to remove soapy smears!

lazylinguist · 03/11/2021 20:00

You can get extra-fine microfibre cloths for polishing glass. They work a treat used dry to buff the surface after washing it.

jackiebenimble · 03/11/2021 20:04

Method and a microfibre cloth here too!

Summersdreaming · 03/11/2021 20:08

I find microfibre still smears and kitchen roll is better on my white gloss units. Never ever having them again though it's a never ending job!!

PieonaBarm · 03/11/2021 20:08

Windolene and a clean tea towel

Dontmindasking · 03/11/2021 20:51

@Summersdreaming oh no don’t say that! Iv been using kitchen roll! No I would never chose them!

I use zoflora and one kitchen roll square to clean then another square to dry. Probably not supposed to use zoflora but I hate the bloody kitchen and it works!

MassiveHoard · 03/11/2021 21:08

I just take off my glasses so I can't see the smears Grin

RJnomore1 · 03/11/2021 21:08

Window vac. It’s a doddle.

MissCruellaDeVil · 03/11/2021 21:11

I use glass cleaner and a micro fibre cloth, I am constantly wiping them as they are covered in fingerprints!

lifeinlimbo2020 · 03/11/2021 21:19

Do a proper initial clean with cif to get the grease or grime off and from then on as PP said I always use Method multi purpose spray. I've just bought a peach one and it smells divine. As they all do tbh. Fab on the granite too.

lifeinlimbo2020 · 03/11/2021 21:20

I finish off with a clean tea towel.

Bluntness100 · 03/11/2021 21:23

Damp microfibre cloth, smear free.

zippidydooday · 03/11/2021 21:23

You can get flash anti smear spray for gloss units. It's really good.
That and a microfibre cloth.

MountainDweller · 03/11/2021 21:26

Agree with others, glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth. And elbow grease! Mine always need a bit of work but look great afterwards.

PeaceLily2000 · 03/11/2021 21:29

Ecloth do a glass cleaning set of 2 cloths and you only need to use water! They work brilliantly - you use one wet and buff with the dry one!

Doublechins · 03/11/2021 22:53

Glass cleaner and kitchen roll works on mine

travailtotravel · 03/11/2021 23:01

All of these. You also learn not to look.

Dontmindasking · 04/11/2021 11:00

Noooo don’t tell me not to look Grin it’s all I can see!

I have method also zoflora, now have micro fibre cloths….. I will look at those ecloth things too plus the anti smear thing if this doesn’t work!
