What is your ultimate stain remover?

DC has managed to get stains on some white school shirts and I just can't get rid of them (the stains, not the child!) I've tried a Vanish-type spray twice but it hasn't worked. Over the summer sunshine was the best stain remover but it's in short supply at this time of year.

Any tips on products that really work?

Elbow grease spray and vanish soap are my go to stain removers. For paint always soak in plain cold water for a few hours first.

White vinegar

I use Elbow Grease but most heavy duty kitchen or even oven cleaners will do. I use te end of the nozzle to rub in the product into the stain.

Long soaks in biological washing power also work.

Bicarbonate soda is amazing for getting rid of stains!
