i only use the drier side of it occasionally.
no space for both machines.

I would keep it, personally.

I ditched mine two years ago. Haven't missed it yet, but I have a garden with a washing line, and an airing cupboard.

I bought mine when we lost the hot water tank and airing cupboard to a combi boiler. One of the worst mistakes ever. (Not the washer-dryer, getting rid of the airing cupboard).

it is currently broken so am thinking of what to replace the washer drier with.
purely a washer?
i line wash and have an airing cupboard

Last time our washer / dryer packed up, we replaced it with a top loader washer which was much easier for DH (limited mobility) to use.

I do miss the dryer, we didn't use it much but I miss how towels stay fluffy and soft when they ate occasionally tumbled.

I had a washer drier in past & barely used the drier so I’d say go for it - just a WM is cheaper & more reliable

Sounds like your airing cupboard is an option, or a heated airer
