I have incinerated yet another pair of oven gloves - I hate electric hobs

So I need a new set of oven gloves

i like those cream ones (really thick) with a coloured edge (often blue?)

Do any of the supermarkets do them?

I've just got a new set made of silicon from Morrisons. They're like a giant mitt (finger section and thumb section). Work fabulously.

Have also seen nice ones in the Pampered Chef catalogue like the ones you mention, but I think they're only one hand, so you'd need to buy two IYKWIM?

Try Nomex - it dosn't start to char until 350oC - may give you the time you need to get them off the hob...I think Lakeland do them!

I've got oven gloves and a tea cosy with cats on! I like to put the tea cosy on my head after it's been on the tea pot. yes, I am a sad case.
