Hiya Saz, I've only got the Dinner Ladies banana loaf I'm afraid - it's yummy but not sure how it compares to the one you want?

Hi Looney, will give it a go. The Ramsey one puts spices Nutmeg and Cinimon in it, think that's why kids and hubby likes it but will give yours a try. Thanks

5oz light muscovado sugar, 3oz unsalted butter osftened, 2 large eggs beaten, 4 medium riped bananas, 1 apple grated, 80z self-raising flour, 1/4tsp grated nutmeg, 1/4tsp cinnamon, pinch of salt

preheat oven to 180c/350f/GM4, grease and line a 2lb loaf tin. cream together the sugar, butter and eggs. stire the mashed banans, apple and sieve in the flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. once well mixed, tip into the loaft tine and bake for 40-45 mons. remove to a wire rack and cool in the tine for 20-30 mins. remove from the tin into the rack and finish cooling completely before slicing...
