... I have been dealing with sick dd all week 4 sleepless nights dd stuck to me like glue, I am so tired and fed up I do not know where to start on my house from hell...

  • washing which is piling up - to be washed and to be put away...
  • kitchen - ugh
  • Living room covered in toys and clothes and cushions.

Please inspire me so I do not attempt just to crawl back into bed and hide!

My house is also a pit. I started on the kitchen earlier, mopped the floor etc and came up here whilst it dried. I've been here for over 45mins now.....

Sod the housework.

Spend some time doing something you enjoy and cheer yourself up!

and me. Kitchen is pretty grim. Washing everywhere (in machine- wet, in tumbledryer, on radiators ) I have horrible period pains so I'm skulking on the computer instead of getting on with clearing up. Long live the slattern

same here, dishwasher needs unloading, same for tumble dryer, living room is a state, same again for kitchen.

this is sooo much more fun!

Thank you all for the encouragement to remain slatternly (is that a word?) - I do not feel like running around with a hoover up my a£*e but I get the guilts every time I glance around at the pit

DD has one of those annoying mystery virus things she is ok during the day but very clingy and pale, and at night she has been getting feverish and upset, the fever has subsided (no high temp last night)but still very wakeful. Hope tonight is better. Not sure I can cope with another sleep deprived night.

Hope yours are better soon too Megalegs.
