They were prancing around after trying on their Halloween costumes and I told them they had to calm down and go to bed. And then I heard it.

The full glass of milk that went all over the carpet. Poured fizzy water and fairy all over it, absorbed as much as I could and then shook what little Bicarbonate of Soda we had all over it.

Any other ideas, or will or living room stink of off milk till next Halloween?

Anyone? The heating has kicked in this am and I've a feeling my living room is going to start smelling like a cheese stall .....

Soak up as much as you can and rub with a damp cloth to get as much milk out the when fully dry sprinkle loads of bicarb on it leave over night and then hoover up.......... Try it.
