morning all, congrats us!

I am not going to do the mission today - will do it beginning of next week when we move back into our bedroom after the ensuite being done, hoorah!

Dressed to shoes done
Kitchen surfaces done
Sink done
Dishes washed in absence of dishwasher done
NO washing on in absence of washing machine

Off out for lunch today, everyone have a nice day

Bienchen · 26/10/2007 12:07

A whole month of FLYing ... . Am particularly pleased that I have hung in so far as I had two short breaks away.

Got my exam certificate for my RHS level 2 course in the post today, so may celebrate with a little red wine tonight!

Last day of half term so have already been in town to replenish DS sock supplies (a result of the Rileyn challenge last week or so when DS cleaned out his sock drawer...).

Not doing too badly today:

Morning
Dress and make up/hair done
Air rooms done
Breakfast for baby, DS and myself and clear away breakfast stuff done
empty dishwasher done
Empty washing machine and load tumble dryer done
hang up washing done
2 minute hotspot (put away dry washing) done
Make beds - will combine with mission with DP later
Read control journal and reminders done
5 minute room rescue (tidy kitchen) done
errands in town done
Red cabbage in slow cooker done dy DS!!
Kelly's mission (change sheets/turn mattress)
15 minutes movement: walk into town done done
What's for tea? (meatballs, red cabbage, pasta or potatoes) done Afternoon/evening
Make biscuits with DS
Find nursery for raspberry bushes
Read control journal and reminders
15 minute decluttering (probably tidy up washed clothes)
15 minutes for me (paint toenails)
Cook tea
Load dishwasher
Load washing machine
Check calendar for tomorrow and next month?s events done
Pamper mission (?)

Bedtime
Put dishwasher on
Put washing machine on
Shine sink
Put clothes out for tomorrow
2 min hotspot (file insurance paperwork)

DP is having tomorrow, Sunday and Tuesday off, so the timing of the mission is perfect. And it takes two to lift our mattress.

Have a fab weekend everyone and Flowery hope you have lots of help with the washing.

Rebel tiptoes back in to say hello, and breathes HUGE sigh of relief at the idea of a graduate/newbies thread, lol.

TheUnholyTrinityRhino · 26/10/2007 19:23

oooo can I start again 2morrow
Can I stay oin here for as long as it takes or am I getting kicked off

flowerybeanbag · 26/10/2007 19:26

Trinity no one is getting kicked off!

Newbies and Graduates is for people who are new to this and have either
a) done all the steps religiously or
b)have wavered and fallen on and off the wagon but want to keep at it. (I think that's actually all of us isn't it?!).

Hi rebel!

BC very impressed with your list and please can I have one of your home-made biscuits?

Bienchen · 26/10/2007 20:00

Biscuits FLYing your way.

I found the biscuit press tidying up a cupboard and DS found a recipe on the internet. They worked out ok and supplied the fifth course for dinner tonight (you can tell we are back from France

SuperMonkey · 26/10/2007 20:47

Hey gang! Like the idea of a Newbies thread .

Big test of the success of FLYing coming tomorrow - got a week's worth of washing to do and bags to unpack and put away (always been a problem for me, bags tend to stay packed for weeks after return from holiday).

Hope we're all well.

CindersNeedsHelp · 26/10/2007 22:13

I think we all agreed it?s nice to be able to have somewhere for those of us who regularly fall off and get back on the FLYwagon, as Flowery said (and that description about sums me up ? some days I FLY, others I don?t.) I have certainly not done all the steps religiously, but on the whole, FLYing has helped me.

So ? newbies/graduates thread here

You may have noticed that I?ve put all the daily reminders up, because I?m not sure I can carry on with putting them up every day. I actually propose that we use the same thread each day, until someone feels it?s getting too long. What do you guys think?

CindersNeedsHelp · 26/10/2007 22:22

After all that, I thought I?d better recap on myself, and my week! Well, today I was playing catch up, as DH was off three out of five days this week, and didn?t FLY on those days at all! So today:

Done
Morning Routine: including S&S and two loads of laundry
Missions: move out things that don't belong in your bedroom, clear and clean bedside table and dressing table
Weekly Home Blessing activites: Dust/vacuum landing, main bed room, DS room & spare room, Dust/sweep living room
Evening routine: not done most things yet, but have cleared away dinner things and filled kettle for the morning cuppa. Plus sink is shiny.

However:
Put clothes away done but needs doing again
Full remake bed (mission) not done will do Sunday (normal day to do it)
Declutter not done today, but catch up took over an hour, so feel justified in not being bothered about it!!!

All that?s left to say is come, join me on the newbies thread!!!
