What type of mattress does your teen use?

Is there any mattress out there that doesn't have a negative review?
I've searched and searched online and started to feel dizzy. I've looked at Silentnight, Emma, Inovo but they all have a few damning reviews which sound totally authentic and put me off. It's for teenagers, both very slim.

I'm looking for possibly Memory foam, double size (medium/soft) at least 18inches deep, no more than £220. Ideally, with a good trial period I know that's not a big budget for "memory foam" if there's any other good non-memory foam type out there I'll be interested as well.

I'm joining in because I'm having the same issue! Poor DD has a crappy mattress and we're looking to buy her a new one. At 16 she's tiny and light but we still want one that will last...I thought memory foam would be out of our budget though....

Memory foam is so expensive but there are some budget ones. The one I was looking at, "Emma" has a few negative reviews. I just don't know whether to ignore the few negative reviews or not. Mattresses can also be a very individual thing, one person might think it wonderful another absolutely terrible depending on their body type. I'm so fed up with hunting for a mattress I just want someone to come along and say, 'buy this one'!
@FortunesFave What type did you have in mind? DS has a crappy and ripped mattress too and I was hoping they'd get a new one before xmas with some nice new beddings.

My teens have a Simba and are very happy.

I've got a Leesa and love it.

Sorry have just seen the budget. I think mattress is definitely something worth investing in, but obviously that's not helpful if budget is tight.

Eve?

I have the Ikea Hyllestad. It's a spring mattress though, not a foam one. I've had it 4 (or maybe 5) years and it's still like sleeping on a cloud.

Good morning! I’ll check these out.
